Buildex 2022 ReGrow Installation
Michael Green Architecture (MGA) has collaborated with Vancouver salvage expert company, Unbuilders, and reclaimed lumber and wood products company, Heritage Lumber, to create an installation at BUILDEX aimed at drawing attention to the construction and demolition waste problem. The installation is called Re-Grow.
The installation consists of a 30’ tall sculpture of a tree made entirely of salvaged wood from the lower mainland. The tree represents the ability to give a second life to our often discarded wood products from the demolition industry.
